2024 Capitol All Stars Softball Game Bat Grab Media Event

Corinna Wilson, Co-Founder and Presenter of the Capitol All Stars Softball Game, introduces Erin Haafke, Community Relations Manager at Feeding Pennsylvania, and Chef Corrie Lingenfelter, Executive Director of Downtown Daily Bread, to speak about the need for hunger relief on both a statewide and local level. CASS Board Advisory Member and Co-Chair of the PA Legislative Hunger Caucus Rep. Emily Kinkead speaks about how fundraisers to support efforts against food insecurity, such as the CASS Game, are providing much-needed assistance to communities throughout the Commonwealth. Sen. Jay Costa, Rep. Bryan Cutler, Rep. Jesse Topper, Rep. Mike Schlossberg, and House Parliamentarian Dave Brogan take part in the “Bat Grab,” to draft players for their respective teams. Representatives from CASS Sponsors Columbia Gas, Highmark Wholecare, and UPMC join the legislators and featured speakers to support the fundraiser.
