Agricultural Partnerships

Farmers Feeding Neighbors

Each year, Pennsylvania’s farmers provide our communities with millions of pounds of surplus fruits, veggies, eggs and meat. We rely on our agricultural partners to provide food banks with diverse and nutritious foods for families in need.

Fill a Glass with Hope

Fresh Milk for Families

A cold glass of milk shouldn’t be out of reach for any child. We work with local milk suppliers and dairy organizations to ensure all families can access the nutrients milk has to offer.

MARC

Produce for Food Banks

There’s no such thing as “surplus food” when millions are still experiencing hunger. The Mid-Atlantic Regional Cooperative rescues produce that might otherwise go to waste from wholesalers, shippers and farmers.

PA Healthy Pantry

Nutritious Recipes and Programming

The Healthy Pantry Initiative exists to help Pennsylvanians eat better. We work with local nutrition educators to promote nutritious food and to increase the number of healthy options available at food pantries.

Policy Advocacy

Working with Our Lawmakers

We are dedicated to addressing the root causes of food insecurity. Through advocacy and legislative efforts, we support efforts to increase funding for food banks and anti-hunger programs.
